Over the three years of the project, this was mainly achieved by developing and providing the necessary monitoring, network, guidelines, support and tools to maintain the expected results in excellent research. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In order to conduct such research, we have provided the document<\/span><b> &#8220;Guidelines on Future Research&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The aim of it is to provide insights on the most interesting fields of research and guide future efforts towards the socio-economic objective of adapting to climate change.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the elaboration, <\/span><b>surveys <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>two working tables<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> were carried out. The work done helped to identify current key problems in the field and how to solve them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the discussions, issues were raised related to the importance of agriculture and its crucial role in the adaptation to climate change. Some of the main steps towards achieving the set goals were identified:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Expanding a variety of stakeholders<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> who are normally<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> excluded from decision making processes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Integration of an interdisciplinary environment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that can stimulate the development of innovative solutions using <\/span><b>living labs <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>hubs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Supporting farmers&#8217; associations and small farmers in Tunisia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which contribute greatly to achieve recognition and to disseminate successful adaptation practices.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conducting <\/span><b>communication, awareness raising, and capacity building campaigns<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the education of society that facilitate putting in practice new ideas.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Summarizing the results of surveys and meetings, key <\/span><b>guidelines on the future<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> were identified that will significantly affect the <\/span><b>socio-ecosystems<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>agro-environment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> development.
